Can someone tell me the proper "set_version.sh" argument so that I can build 2.0.2-RELEASE from scratch with "build_iso.sh"?

The best I can get it to do is build 2.0.3-PRERELEASE.

All I want to do is update the kernel u3g driver to recognize the Sierra Wireless U305 (Vendor ID 0x119, Product ID 0x68a3).

      Any help would be appreciated.

Figured it out from another thread.

Set PFSENSETAG to RELENG_2_0_2 in the pfsense-build.conf.

You really probably do want 2.0.3. There were issues with 2.0.2 as released (captive portal, gui issues, DNS over PPP…) 2.0.3 isn't some development branch that gets lots of wacky stuff done to it, it's just bugs that were found/fixed in 2.0.2.

A fresh 2.0.3 snapshot is being built now (08 March) and is partially done.

Is it possible to get changes added to 2.0.3 that aren't bug fixes?

I'm doing all this work trying to get a Sierra Wireless U305 card working (although it is on the list of supported 3G devices, it isn't supported in 2.0).

I have the patches done (it's just a line added to usbdevs and u3c.c) and was wondering if this type of change can be added to that tree.

I'm fairly sure the product id for the card (0x68a3) has been added to the 2.1 tree, but I'm not willing to run 2.1.

I'm just curious how all these updates work.

No. 2.0.3 is frozen for anything but bug fixes.

Why not 2.1? It's about to go RC1, and it's been stable for a while. It doesn't make much sense to resist it at this point if your hardware works there.
