I've been trying to build a pfsense installer DVD without success.

No matter which image I download, from any mirror site, the extracted IMG files always apear corrupted. Renaming them to ISO allows me to burn them to DVD. However the disks made are unreadable and the ISO's are un-mountable.

I've tried creating these on a Windows 7 machnie and an Unbuntu 11 machine. Always the same result, unreadable disks.

The pfsense site talks about a "live CD" download, but I can't find these files anywhere.

Can someone please explain how to create a bootable disk using a Windows 7 machine so I can install pfsense.

Note: My target machine is an AMD Sempron, 2GB mem, 80GB HDD machine.

      Thanks

        Download this: http://mirror.qubenet.net/mirror/pfsense/downloads/pfSense-2.0-RELEASE-i386.iso.gz

Extract the ISO and Burn on to a CD
