Pfsense to Cisco VPN
-
Hello,
I need to setup a VPN between my PFsense 2 and a client network that use Cisco VPN.
They gave me these info:
Host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
GroupName=****
Group Password: ****
Username: ****
Password: ****and also sent me a .pcf file to use eventually with a vpn client. I would like to be able to route all my local lan to the remote lan. Thanks.

There isn't a way to connect to such a network using pfSense as a client.
Not yet anyhow… that would require support for acting as an xauth client, which doesn't yet exist.

OK thanks for the info.

I've done something similar with Linux + vpnc + iptables.
It worked, but it was more of a hack to get temporary connectivity to another LAN.

Yeah….me too before I replaced my Linux with shorewall/iptabes and vpnc! I'll let just one win box with the proper client to connect to the remote net for now! Thx.

Cisco makes a hardware VPN client, the 3002 just for this purpose. I think it is discontinued, but still works well for connecting a group of people as a classic Cisco IPSEC client.
