Watchguard Firebox X1000 2.0.2 Slow DHCP Address Assignment

I have a wireless AP attached to the system, when i connect to the AP it takes almost 3x as long vs the SOHO wifi/router i have to get a new address. Any ideas?

narrowed it down to it only happening on my linux laptop and not on any of the windows pc's

Run a packet capture on the interface. Find out where the delay is or how the dhcp negotiation differs between Linux and windows clients.

I assume there's nothing in the dhcp logs?

The linux laptop is dual boot with windows 7 Ult so i can say its the OS and not the hardware and will check when i get a chance with that device.

IM gonna say drivers on the laptop. Make sure they are up to date.
