Internet freezes up after a few days…

After a few days, usually 5-8, my Internet will stop working. I'm using the latest sable version of Pfsense. I don't know if it's my cable modem causing the problem or pfsense. I've restarted my cable modem and then the Internet will start working again; and, I've restarted Pfsense and the Internet will start working again. I don't know what to do/check for. Does anyone have any suggestions?

anything in the system log when it freezes up?
DHCP on WAN?
