      Hi,
I have server with pfsense 2.0.2 and 10gig nic: emulex OneConnect OCE11102-N (driver oce) (for WAN and LAN interfaces).

The above is passing the traffic but in the traffic shaper my emulex interfaces do not appear.

Main question is what 10gig cards will for sure work with traffic shaper?

      –---------

      freebsd 8.1 page:

[i386,amd64] The ixgb(4) driver supports the following cards:
Intel PRO/10GbE LR Server Adapter, Intel PRO/10GbE SR Server Adapter

[i386,amd64] The mxge(4) driver supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapters based on the Myricom LANai Z8E chips:
      Myricom 10GBase-CX4 (10G-PCIE-8A-C, 10G-PCIE-8AL-C), Myricom 10GBase-R (10G-PCIE-8A-R, 10G-PCIE-8AL-R), Myricom 10G XAUI over ribbon fiber (10G-PCIE-8A-Q, 10G-PCIE-8AL-Q)

[i386,amd64] The cxgb(4) driver supports 10 Gigabit and 1 Gigabit Ethernet adapters based on the T3 and T3B chipset:
      Chelsio 10GBase-CX4, Chelsio 10GBase-LR, Chelsio 10GBase-SR

      –----------

I found some threads on forums that say they have pfsense working with Myricom cards.
OK, I read about this issue and someone mentioned that NIC needs to support ALTQ for traffic shaper to recognise 10gig interfaces.
the thing is that Myricom is not listed in there. How do I find the right card then?

        Myricom 10G-PCIE2-8C2-2S+E is the solution(https://www.myricom.com/products/network-adapters/10g-pcie2-8c2-2s.html).

It has driver called mxge that is having altq option compatible with freebsd 8.1 .

the page on pfsense portal does not mention mxge (http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/ALTQ_drivers)
but freebsd 8.1 official page does (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=altq&apropos=0&sektion=4&manpath=FreeBSD+8.1-RELEASE+and+Ports&arch=default&format=html).
