I'm trying to install PFSense 2.0.2 64 bit from a USB stick. Everything works fine, apart from the fact that PFSense does'nt recognize my hard drive. When I launch the installer, the only drive it sees is the USB stick. BIOS detects the drive, so no issue there. Drive is a SATA 6 Gb/s.

      Any idea to help?

      Thank you

It may not like the disk controller or the mode it's in. If there are BIOS options for things like Legacy/IDE/AHCI or similar, try toggling them.

If that doesn't help, try a 2.1 snapshot. You may have a storage chipset that isn't supported on 2.0.x.

I ran into the same issue last night after a mobo/cpu/ram upgrade.  I had to change hard drive access from AHCI to IDE to allow installation. Switching back to AHCI after install causes pfSense not to boot.
