How to assign certain WANs to certain LANs
-
Hi,
I today built my first pfsense and I'm quiet satisfied with it.
But there is somesthing I did not sort out so far by myself:
I'm running the pfsense with 2 WAN connections and 2 LAN connections. My goal is to assign WAN1 to LAN1 and WAN2 to LAN2.
How can I do this?
WAN1 is a VDSL connection through a VDSL Router and WAN2 is a SDSL connection with static/public IP.
I also already build 2 gateways - one for each WAN connection. Both are online and I also can configure failover through a gateway group.
But how can I definde a specific WAN connection to be used by a LAN of my choice?
Thanks in advance! -
Just add two firewall rules on the LAN side pointing to the two LAN subnets and the corresponding gateways. Or is it something else you want to accomplish?

WAN1 –- 192.168.1.10, 192.168.1.11, 192.168.1.12
WAN2 --- 192.168.1.13, 192.168.1.14, 192.168.1.15

create an alias, which contains half of your clients
Create rule on lan, where you apply this alias as source and in advanced settings select another gateway
