UTorrent crashing my entire WAN connection including IPSEC.

rebooting my psfsense box doesn't bring the system back up unless I also REBOOT my modem.
This makes me think that your modem may be running out of states. Now that shouldn't happen if your modem is in bridge mode but is it?

Well I put my modem in bridge mode, (according to my isp, although there is no bridge mode option).
I still had the problem I also then had the modem replaced I still have the problem.
If I reset the states on the pfsense box it takes a very long time and then the net seems to come back online after about 10 - 20 min if Utorrent is still running it will then go down again.
Are their any logs that would show this, the pfsense is running on an SSD.

I am missing something. How do you set the modem into bridge mode if there s no bridge mode option?

There is a variety of system logs at Diagnostics -> System Logs. I suspect if you look in those logs you might find a flurry of events reported around the time your internet link goes down.
I don't' know what is causing this I've looked into the logs but I can't see anything that stand out.
Which logs did you look into?

Does the pfSense WAN interface have your public IP?
If not then your modem is stilling NATing the connection and has to handle the multitude of bit torrent states.Steve

I'm guessing that he disabled NAT.

This connection issue is very strange randomly drops and today it dropped again WITHOUT utorrent running, which is really strange considering 5 mi nafter utorrent running the system always crashed.
Now Utorrent can run without crashing but it's not unlikely to crash if running.
I managed to get it back up without rebooting the firewall only the modem.
What is apparent and every time this happens is when I log into the pfsence box the Gui 1/2 loads then after about 30 sec it is fully visible to the screen.
"Which logs did you look into?"
I'm looking mostly at the traffic logs and from the graphs it looks like traffic spikes at the point of crash yet i don't have enough logging to prove this true, just an observation.
"I am missing something. How do you set the modem into bridge mode if there s no bridge mode option?"
According to my ISP my (sagecom) modem when reset to default it automatically is reset to bridge mode. (although in the GUI there is no mention of "bridge")
"Does the pfSense WAN interface have your public IP?"
no under WAN all i have is my username and pass for PPOE
"I'm guessing that he disabled NAT."
I haven't set this I only reset my modem
I wonder if my SSD is going bad?

You are using PPPoE for your WAN connection from the pfSense box?
If that's true then you do have a bridged modem. Go to Status: Interfaces: in the webgui. Lookin the WAN section, which will probably be labeled 'WAN interface (pppoe0) ' for the IP address. Is it a public IP?Steve

The IP address listed is my public Ip address designated by my ISP (static)

That's my theory dead then. ;)
I would have to suspect one of the packages then.

Thanks for the ideas.
I may format my pfsense box and start from scratch, I have a few other tests I can try.
