I am a noob and this is my very first attempt with a pfsense install and I am facing problems

      Hardware:
Intel DN2800MT board with 2x2 GB RAM
      Intel SSD 40GB
Jetway Dual Intel I350 GbE LAN controller installed on board
      Azurewave 802.11 b/g/n - AR5B95 Wifi adapter

      What I have done:
Formatted a USB stick using Fat32
      Downloaded pfSense-memstick-2.0.3-RELEASE-amd64.img.gz
      Extracted file using 7-zip
      Downloaded win32DiskImager
      Created bootable USB device
      Booted fine from USB device

But now I am facing the "Welcome to pfsence" where I have to select from 8 menu items. I tried to chose 1 Boot pfsense (default) or 3 Boot pfsense using USB device , but everytime I just see some "garbage" characters on the bottom line of the screen.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

      TIA

I'm using the 64-bit build (2.1, not 2.0.3) on my DN2800MT, no issues at all.

            I can break anything.
