How to use openDNS for web filtering if I already have internal DNS?

I like how openDNS has filtering based on categories and you can add domains. The problem is that we already have an internal DNS. If i used openDNS on pfsense would that still filter the look up.

Yes, for systems that use pfSense as their name server?

Your internal DNS almost certainly uses an external DNS so configure your internal DNS to use OpenDNS as its external DNS instead of your ISP's DNS or Google or …

Sorry I should have been more specific. The site I want to use pfsense on is a multi site domain. Since I only want to use content filtering on one site I would not want to use openDNS for the whole domain. It seems that openDNS will not work in my case.
I'm really just looking for a captive portal that does content filtering. I know there is the squid add on but that doesn't block per category, correct?

You have to configure the external DNS IPs from Open DNS on every computer. You can do it using DHCP configuration on those clients.
