New lan, disappear vlan

Hallo,
I tried this several times, When I have a fresh pfsense box, and create a new 'lan' interface and activate it, WAN will disappear and stop working, after reset it will say
WAN(wan) -> xxx1 -> NONE(dhcp)
LAN(lan) -> xxx0 -> NONE(dhcp)Does anyone know what can cause this problem?

So, pfsense forum is pretty much dead? could I ask the question on freebsd forum?
This is one of many attempts, tried static dhcp, with or without info.

The forum isn't dead, I just think people are too perplexed by why you would set the LAN to DHCP and what exactly this has to do with Vlans or the WAN interface. It may be a failure to communicate, you could always try a language specific sub-forum.

:) sorry, indeed, I tried multiple things, static is always the first thing I'm trying, and dhcp as last resort, I figured since I couldn't fix it perhaps dhcp could do that.
I got it somehow working, No idea why exactly I used another NIC(intel) for this one and that seemed to work, my onboard did not work(works with "untangle" though so it is not broken, perhaps OS driver support?). I have been playing a lot with pfsense the last two days was about to give up Again.

I got a offtopic question, if possible can anyone awnser it?
I'm currently learning to work with pfsense my universal firewall/router skills is nothing to brag about, barely know anything, and barely learned about it in school. I want to create a little webhosting with a few servers behind a pfsense firewall. How does it exactly work with ip's?
As far I know the best way to do that is the normal way with bridging? Am I correct? or can I when the lan is created use a switch and after that servers but won't they have problems with fetching the ip's (I think it's ARP that handles it will it cause trouble when behind pfsense or do I have to unable something?)
