    DHCP Service not working

      Today (7/10/2013) I have noticed that none of my clients on the LAN are getting IP address from the DHCP service. I tried to start the service and it does not start (pic attached ). I have updated the firewall code to the latest 2.1 snapshot and still no success. Help is appreciated.

        Please post the contents of the DHCP log: Status -> System Logs, click on DHCP tab or use pfSense shell command```
        clog /var/log/dhcpd.log

            It believes it's already running, so it probably is, but perhaps the pid file is stale/mismatching.

            From the shell:

            # killall -9 dhcpd
# rm /var/dhcpd/var/run/dhcpd.pid /var/dhcpd/var/run/dhcpdv6.pid

            And then restart it from the GUI.

              Thank you jump. Your suggested stems seems to have worked. Now my DHCP demon is running.
