Hello all, I have a question probably not related to PFsense.

I work in a medium network environment, 5000+ devices. I have a few PC's that are slowly getting works throughout the day, I cannot pinpoint why, except that they are al lmy reception users. I need to somehow monitor their PC net performance throughout the day, PfSense is not installed in this environment, we are a cisco shop. But is there any free tools out there I can install on a specific Computer to monitor and check back after 24 hours to generate a nice report?  Thanks for any suggestions in this matter. I know this is not the site for this, but if you know of any that would help it would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Off the top of my head, I believe this can be done with PFsense and the BandwidthD package.  Others can chime in on a more polished package if one exists.

If you're looking for something that installs on the PC, I'd say Google your needs… e.g. "free bandwidth monitor", "free traffic monitor", etc.... there's a bunch of them out there... none that I've tried unfortunately.
