How to disable interface

Hello all,

I am new to pfsense.
I want to know about how to disable configured interface using source code of pfsense.
actually i want to get inbytespass or outbytespass of a interface.
after that i want to make that interface disabled if that interface exceeded given amount of data usage.

help me to overcome this problem.
