Logging user IDs when shrewsoft vpn client connects

Hi,

I am running 2.0.3-RELEASE and am connecting successfully with Shrewsoft VPN client 2.1.7. The issue i am having is that i am trying to figure out how to log who is connecting successfully, the information i see in the logs does not have the Pre-shared key user ID. This needs to be logged for compliance. Any help is appreciated.

For pre-shared key that doesn't typically get logged.

If you need that kind of detail, use xauth login and not PSK. Xauth logins get logged.

I cannot find any documentation on how to setup ipsec roadwarrior with xauth, could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
