      One of my firewalls is refusing to upgrade.  It's an Atom based embedded box running

      2.1-BETA1 (i386)
      built on Mon Mar 11 08:59:46 EDT 2013
      FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE-p6

      I tell it to upgrade, it goes through the motions, downloads the file and reboots but it's still running the old version when it comes back up.

      Is there some magic trick I'm missing?

        Can you check if everything is okay with media where you're installing your update ? It must be CF card I suppose.
