Apinger, the longer the apinger runs, the higher the latency

Hello,

We are setting up a HA pfsense(2.1 latest build) setup with a failover multiwan connection, one thing we got is that the "apinger" shown latency get higher and higher.(see screenshot attached)
Any idea? If i ping the Monitored Gateway directly from Shell, pings are quite normal (round about 1ms up 9ms) (100Mbit Fiber)
And this is happen only on Firewall 2 (Slave)
