PPTP proxy package for multiple outgoing PPTP connections
-
Fist stage and not tested solution to fix pptp limitation on pfsense
If anybody want to test, here are the packages:
i386
pkg_add -r http://e-sac.siteseguro.ws/packages/8/All/frickin-2.0.b2_1.tbzamd64
pkg_add -r http://e-sac.siteseguro.ws/packages/amd64/8/All/frickin-2.0.b2_1.tbzIts an old package but pptp is old too.
frickin2 -f -c /usr/local/etc/frickin.conf Frickin v2.0 BETA2, running in foreground Listener on 127.0.0.1:1723, Frickin PPTP Proxy
The last thing to do is a nat forwarding 1723 lan to wan connections to 127.0.0.1:1723.
As I'm trying to finish dansguardian package and don't use multiple outgoing pptp connections, please test and feedback.

It doesn't work, we tried it years ago.

It is not that simple marcelloc.
There is a fix but it has a issue which has to be fixed. -

http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,44540.0.html
What limitation this package has?

It doesn't work at all, tried to follow up with its author multiple times with no response.

I had hoped that an approach like the one discussed in
http://old.nabble.com/-patch–pf-PPTP-nat-passthrough-patch.-td16047825.html
would have been implemented since (the discussion is almost 4 years old)
