lusca is a caching system that is meant to add dynamic caching content similar to a squid install only with more support for things like youtube vids.
Personally I wish caching dynamic content were easier and better.  Some people really need this.  "Think "villages with only 1 bad cell based internet or middle of Newzealand nothingness schools".

The modern internet assumes everyone is dripping with bandwidth to spare, but in lots of places, its not.

Here is a really smart guy with some really bad English describing the whole thing well.

I'm unclear as to why lusca "squid" would break one website but not others if it is bypassed.
I totally understand why you are using it.
Bandwidth is terrible and expensive in some parts of the Philippines.

What is the site being blocked?

Can you paste your lusca "squid" settings?

The Website is www.bics.bingosys.net, i can visit the website even if my lusca-cache and squidGuard is running, but i can not log in to it. but if i turn the two services of or uncheck "Allow users on interface and Transparent proxy" thats the time that i can log in to that website

Go into services > proxy server

                Disable X-Forward

                Disable VIA

                Suppress Squid Version

                Save the settings
                Then reboot pfsense

That might help.  It will keep the website from knowing you are using proxy.

(I posted it earlier, but the site was updating.  Sorry about delay)

                    You didn't do it all.

                    Enable >  Disable X-Forward

                    Enable >  Disable VIA

                    Check those two boxes also.

Thats all I can think of unless there is something unique about the website that hates squid.  Maybe just bypass the site for squid.

BTW - Why is the loopback interface selected to bind too?

                        Why not just the LAN?
