You don't usually need to configure NAT it's setup by default unless you have a particularly complex setup.
The default IP address on the pfSense LAN interface is 192.168.1.1. Can you access that? What is the IP address on the client computer? Is it receiving that from pfSense via DHCP?
What is the pfSense WAN interface connected to? If it's connected to a soho router there is a good chance that is also using 192.168.1.X which causes a problem. What is the pfSense WAN address? If it's a public IP then probably don't post that here.

Have to agree with stephenw10, after you tell pfsense whic is your WAN/LAN you shouldn't have to anything but maybe reboot the modem or whatever external hardware that is connecting to the pfsense box WAN port. Believe me i going crazy tryign to understand that part, and if that doesn't work try a different stable version. but then again i don't understand your setup and that is a different issue.
