Chrome buggy dropdown menus in default theme
-
I found this year old thread relating to the same issue I still have: http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,51905.msg277511.html#msg277511
The thread is however locked for some reason.
I am still having this issue. The dropdown menus disappear very quickly and half the time I have to play games with it to try and select an option which is highly annoying.
It doesn't seem to affect Firefox and doesn't look the issues exists with any of the other themes when using Chrome either.
It also doesn't affect the default theme on version 2.0.3 of pfSense.I am using the latest version of Chrome-stable (version 29) on Linux.
Can't we just bring back the 2.0.3 code for the menus, they work just fine!

Never seen anything like that, using Chrome almost exclusively. Sounds like some broken extension.

Not really, a major rewrite.

Thanks, it's been like this since I've installed it though but I've always used a different theme so I don't have to deal with it. However I want to use the widescreen theme mod that was done and this only works on the default theme.
I made a quick screen capture of what happens:

The wide-screen mods never really worked all that amazingly well for me under 2.03 anyway, so if its still not super good under 2.1 I'd not be surprised.

No, it's not the mod. The issue has been there the whole time for me. I'm only reporting it now because I have to use the default theme for the mod. The issue exists on the default theme, not the mod.

Like doktornotor said, I use both firefox and chrome to access the gui for both 2.1 and 2.03 and no problems yet.
(I am using a Linux box - Maybe some differences there)

Only browser from a windows machine I have that problem with is IE. Works fine with Chrome and Firefox.
