      There are some driver fixes in the upcoming 8.3-RELEASE that I really need … when 8.3 is released in march, will there be a new pfsense version that will match it ?

      If not, how can I build an updated pfsense that contains those new drivers ?

      Thanks.

        The next version of pfSense, 2.1, will be built on FreeBSD 9.

          Thanks.

          I looked at the roadmap and did not see a release date for 2.1 … will it be immediately following 9.1-RELEASE ?

            @stephenw10:

            The next version of pfSense, 2.1, will be built on FreeBSD 9.

            Due to issues on 9 in general at this point that will take longer to resolve than we have time for before 2.1, we're changing to 8.3 for 2.1. 2.1 will be released shortly after 8.3 is (late March).
