      Hi,

I was wondering if the gui element of quagga ospf could implement watchquagga.

i've read that this daemon could be used to monitor the quagga process and restart it when it has died.
i've had quagga die on a site last week and didn't really notice for a couple of hours.
This caused the DFS of the wintendo servers to get out of sync and it took plenty hours for it to catch up over the slow WAN/vpn.

i figure it wouldn't be too hard to implement for someone who knows what/how/where. The daemon is allready included in the current quagga package, it's just not used at the moment.

      kind regards

Why not use the Service Watchdog package we already have to monitor it?
