Hi, i have squid3 and dansguardian, all is ok, filters well, but i have a "stupid" (like me) problem, after reboot,  file /usr/local/etc/dansguardian/dansguardianf1.conf  … come back to default values... why??

Anything i touch after reboot come back to default... only in dansguardian, system and files keeps changes... but dansguardian "overwrite" changes i made... i think,  :-\

Sorry, im newbie in this distro... but i like it...

Im using virtualbox image... no snapshots.... ver 2.0.2 ...

      Thanks

All (99.9%) settings in pfSense are done from the webGUI. The setttings are saved to /cf/conf/config.xml - then the backend code reads config.xml and does the necessary stuff to make it happen on FreeBSD and utilities. At boot, most conf files are rewritten using the settings specified in config.xml
Do all your settings in the webGUI - don't try to edit conf files yourself.

I am not a dansguardian user, so I am not familiar with the settings for that. You might get faster replies by posting in the Packages forum category.
