    Hello,
    recently "Deutsche Telekom" in Germany started to roll out VDSL with IP-TV. Normal Internet access is working fine but IP-TV is not working through pfSense. After research I found this:

    This is kind of hard to understand for people that are not developers but simple users of pfSense.

    How can I build this into my latest snapshot of pfSense? Do I need to start with this?

    Or is this multicast support already in pfSense?
    But if I build my own version, I can't follow the new official versions since mine will be special? Would it be too hard for developers to compile the Kernel with this option?

    I suspect multicast will be a very important feature since IP-TV will become more common. The Linux guys have this solution:

    Sorry, many questions, but my IP-TV now hangs after 10 seconds since the multicast is not working…
