Browser Detection

Hi All
I hope I'm in the right area. If this is not possible, do you think this would be a nice feature for PFSense? The ability to detect browser type. That would allow me to say block all outgoing connections from IE but allow Chrome and Firefox

Does anyone agree?

It isn't really possible, at least not easily. You might be able to come up with an L7 pattern for it.

Though it's easy for people to change their browser string so it's not really perfect protection either.
