does anyone know how we can increase user-password lenght in pfSense ?

Not enough detail there… Passwords where? On what screen? For what? And what limit are you currently seeing that you want to increase?

sorry, I am looking for the passwords for example for Admin user (web GUI) there is a limit how long the password can be (how many characters) … and I would like to extend this limit, ok ?

There is no limit on that field.

Are you saying you tested it, and that there is a limit? If so, what limit did you hit?

And what do you want to extend it to?

the limit is 18 characters as i can see ? maybe I was wrong, but I am afraid to try as it is difficult to count it … I am afraid to lock my self out ...

The size of the box is 20 characters, but it lets you keep typing beyond that. The actual content of the box is not limited in size.
