      Dears,

How to downgrade to 2.0.3 relase? I can't find old relase to download…
New 2.1 version sucks on my old machine ( Intel Celeron , 512MB RAM ) CPU activity is still at 80-90%
Old version ( 2.0.3 normal CPU activity was approx. 8-13%

      please help...

Not all the mirrors have the 'old' directory:
        http://files.bgn.pfsense.org/mirror/downloads/old/

However 2.1 is faster on most machines. What is the CPU doing? What are you doing with the box?

        Steve

Well that's not a good sign.
Try running 'top -SH' at the command line.

            What Celeron are you running?

            Steve

Maybe instead of doing a downgrade, do a clean install of 2.1 and restore settings.  I'd bet it will then work fine.

                I run Celeron Coopermine ( Socket 370 ) 1000MHz…
But one hour ago, I found that CPU fan have failure. Radiator was overheated and fan stops.  ( I do not have spare cpu fan for such old socket )
In that case, I decided to move on a "new" platform - Dell CPU Pentium 4 2.4GHz with 2GB RAM

For now everything works fine, even with 2.1-RELEASE (i386) ( on new PC )

                thanks a lot

                Jack
