NUT not starting (error included)
-
I'm attempting to use the NUT package with the latest nanobsd 2.1 package on a soekris net6501.
I have it plugged into a cyberpower CP1500PFCLCD via USB. I'm using the "Cyber Power Systems 1500 AVR" option from the "Local UPS Model" field./usr/local/etc/rc.d/nut.sh start starting cyberpower Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.6.5 Can't start /usr/pbi/nut-i386/libexec/nut/cyberpower: No such file or directory cyberpower failed to start
I'm not really sure what to make of this? Does the "Cyber Power Systems 1500 AVR" option look for that file which coesn't exist?

Ya, Cyberpower is not there. The generic one will work fine (I've used it on my Cyberpower).

This did not work for me. However, setting it to Tripplite AVR USB with Auto USB solved the problem completely, and seemed to also solve the stale data issue as well.
NUT is now reporting correct Model, Status, Load, Charge, Voltages and Runtime.

+metoo for a CyberPower 1000 model CP1000AVRLCD
pfSense 2.1.5-RELEASE (amd64) and nut 2.6.5_1 pkg 2.0.2This is an annoying bug. According to http://www.networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html This model CyberPower should be using "powerpanel". But I'm not sure if that's correct for USB rather than serial connected models. The CyberPower CP1000AVDLCD has both USB and serial ports but ships with a USB cable.
