Block file sharing inside the LAN

I saw there is a package in pfsense which could help to block file sharing. I would like to hear about it more. I cannot remember its name and if some one knows, please reply.

Firewall can't block anything from LAN TO LAN if it's filtering traffic from LAN to WAN.

You will need a lot of subnets to filter it.

marcelloc is right, a Firwall or Gateway can't filter LAN to LAN because it is normally Layer3 device.

You should use something like Asymmetric VLAN, so you dont need a lot of subnets to filter. Ceep it simple
