      Hi,

      I need some help here.

I installed a fresh 2.0.3 pfs so I only get the console. Is it possible to install packages via ssh console?

If it's a pfSense package (from our list in System > Packages), then no, not on 2.0.x.

It can be done on 2.1.

If you are able to reach the firewall over the network with ssh, you can use an ssh port forward to get to the GUI. If you aren't really on ssh, but on the physical/serial console, but have access to the network, you can let yourself into the GUI.

Possible to do it using Links?
I've done it in the past experimentally but the webgui does not display nicely in Links so it's confusing, possibly very confusing!ย  ;)

It might be, but it would be very awkward and may not work 100% โ€“ I have never tried it, but I know links can often have JS issues and the GUI package install process uses a fair amount of it.
