Quick question, what is the easiest way of installing pfSense on a hard drive if your target machine doesn't have an optical drive?

Use the memstick installer if the target can boot off a USB flash drive.

Boot from the memstick image on a usb stick and install from there.
          Or
Move the harddisk to a box that does have an optical drive, install, move back. You might see an error but that can be worked around.

          Edit: Typed too slow!
