There is a driver.  It breaks traffic shaping.

        I can break anything.

Is this driver built into pfsense or do i need to grab it from somewhere else? What about i217LM support?

It's not built in. It was backed out of 2.1 during testing because it broke altq.
I'm not sure it's publicly available anywhere.

Does this depend on a release of a freebsd driver from the hardware vendor? If it is released, any chance of adding it in a later release of pfsense?

Intel have already released several driver versions that support the i210 but the backport to 8.3 has broken altq.
Future versions of pfSense will almost certainly support it. 2.2 will be built on FreeBSD 10 which has support built in. When/if any intermediate releases are made, 2.1.1 etc, it may have it if the altq issue can be resolved in time.

                  I wouldn't bet on it being in a 2.1.1
