DHCPv6 not showing in 2.1?
-
I can't for the life of me figure out the reasons for this. My tunnel works, so it's not breaking anything, but the DHCPv6 doesn't show in the webconfigurator. I've rebuilt entirely from a blank slate onto one of the 2.1 snapshots and it happened again. Sometimes it'll show randomly after I set the tunnel up, but then it breaks and vanishes again.
However if I manually go to services_dhcpv6.php it does show up, it simply doesn't show as an option in webconfig. There are no v6 options under normal DHCP server settings either.

My tunnel works and so does DHCPv6, so as far as I can tell it's just a webconfig display issue. This isn't breaking anything, just somewhat annoying.
Apologies if this should be in the IPV6 forum, but I wasn't having this issue with 2.0.1 gitsyched to have ipv6, this only started with the 2.1 snapshots.

I think you have a package installed that overwrites the menu file, causing the menu item to dissapear.
This leads me to believe that you might be missing diag NDP table as well.

You are correct! The widescreen package was doing it. Soon as I removed it, it works fine. Thank you!

I too have this problem for exactly the same reason. However I have removed widescreen but the extras don't come back.
I have restarted the web configurator and tried another browser that has not "touched" this pf.
Shall I just wait for the next snapshot 8)
Cheers

That would be the easiest thing to do, if the package is gone, a firmware update (or a gitsync) would be the best way to ensure a good system state.
