Encrypt trafic local to pfsense

Hi my friends.
Is there a solution to encrypt my LAN trafic to pfsense gateway?

why? All traffic or just access to the pfsense web gui? Is your local lan hostile? Who would be sniffing your local lan traffic?

I want to have a secure lan that anyone can not sniffing it.
My lan is not secure. -
I would just create a vpn to the pfsense box from the lan side - openvpn for example. This would encrypt all your traffic to and from pfsense - now if your route traffic back inside the lan that would not be encrypted, and your internet traffic would not be encrypted unless it would going out another pfsense vpn connection or via https, etc.

just have your openvpn listen on that interface.

Yeah why not? VM is just like any other copy of pfsense running on actual hardware. But comes down to your connection - is this VM running on the workstation your using on the lan? If so then really kind of completely pointless to vpn to yourself, etc.
Are you setting up the firewall rules to allow your vpn traffic?
