      Hello,

I have three x 2MBPS ADSL lines (2 with static IPs + 1 with a PPPoE connection - Dynamic IP). All three connections are on different subnets.

I've setup a multi gateway with all three connections configured to work on Tier 1.

Now when I do a speed test somehow I only ever get a maximum of 4 MBPS.

Looking at the charts I see that the traffic is sent out randomly using any of the 2 out 3 WAN Connections.

Its strange, but if I force any of the three connections down then the load is balanced amongst the remaining 2 WANS.

Could someone please explain as to why I'm not getting a 6Mbps round-robin connection?

I'm using the 2.0.1 stable Release.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

      Thanks
      Best Regards

      Vishal

What method are you using to speed test? For instance if it's usenet they may limit the number of IP's that are allowed per one useraccount.

Using Speedtest.net to check my speed. Even if I'm downloading a file - 2 of 3 connections are used for traffic. The other one remains idle.

First try if LoadBalöancing with your three connections is working in general.-

            Try:
            www.pfsense.org/ip.php
Refresh the page fastz after another and make sure that you get displayed all the public IPs of your connections.

Another possibility could be to brwose to maps.google.com - zoom in and out and check the traffic graphs on the dashboard if all your WAN connections will be used. If this or the above is working then LoadBalancing is working and you should not bother about speedtest.net.

I am using three ADSL connections, too, and I only get two connections "combined" with speedtest.net but on other websites I can see that LoadBalancing is working over all three connections.
