      Hi all,

Would it be possible to run pfSense on a VM of VirtualBox?

      Host - Ubuntu 12.04
      virtualizer - Oracle VirtualBox
      VM - pfSense

eth0 - directly connected to ADSL cable modem
      eth1 - internal network

How to configure /etc/network/interfaces of the host?  So that it will use the internal network NOT connecting ISP directly but using the routing on pfSence VM?

How to configure pfSense on the VM so that it would use the virtual NIC to connect ISP directly getting access to Internet?

Please advise.  Pointers would be appreciated.  TIA

      Rgds

Try to find a guide with pfsense running in KVM? or something similar might get you what you need.

          Yes.
Look in the virtualisation subforum: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/board,37.0.html
