      Hi all!

i get the following entries in Sylog at start of HAVP Package:

      Feb 26 12:48:16 havp[66052]: Process ID: 66052
      Feb 26 12:48:16 havp[65952]: –- All scanners initialized
Feb 26 12:48:16 havp[65952]: Clamd Socket Scanner passed EICAR virus test (Eicar-Test-Signature)
      Feb 26 12:48:16 havp[65952]: –- Initializing Clamd Socket Scanner
Feb 26 12:48:16 havp[65952]: Running as user: havp, group: havp
Feb 26 12:48:16 havp[65952]: === Mandatory locking disabled! KEEPBACK settings not used!
      Feb 26 12:48:16 havp[65952]: === Starting HAVP Version: 0.91
Feb 26 12:48:08 php: rc.filter_configure_sync: There was an error while parsing the package filter rules for /usr/local/pkg/havp.inc.
Feb 26 12:48:08 php: rc.filter_configure_sync: The command '/sbin/pfctl -nf /tmp/rules.test.packages' returned exit code '1', the output was '/tmp/rules.test.packages:42: syntax error'
Feb 26 12:47:41 php: rc.filter_configure_sync: There was an error while parsing the package filter rules for /usr/local/pkg/havp.inc.
Feb 26 12:47:41 php: rc.filter_configure_sync: The command '/sbin/pfctl -nf /tmp/rules.test.packages' returned exit code '1', the output was '/tmp/rules.test.packages:42: syntax error'

What kind of syntax error could it be in the rules.test.packages file?

As indicated HAVP starts up and seems to work fine. I found nothing in the Forum so far, but something seems to be broken.
It maybe just changing one entry to the correct syntax, but I'm no coder and I don't have any idea as i can't see any HAVP entries in rules.test.packages?
      Anyone else?
      Thank you!

No, my crystal ball is in repair shop. Why don't you post the offending line 42 of the file?

as i hate reading unresolved forum posts, when googling for solutions, i'll give some feedback lately…

solved it by reinstalling all because other problems appeared soon after this one due to a hard disk failure.

thanks for your reply anyway doctornotor, i missed it at the time.  :( i think i looked for line 42, but i don't remember, why i didn't post it...

now fighting with other things (havp blocking fine, syslog entries there, but dashboard widget not showing alarms anymore on 2.1.4)
but thats another post if reinstalling doesn't solve it...
