Access Point setup

Hello. I just built my PfSense box, and I am wanting to use my logitech gaming router as an access point. How do I setup the AP?
I know I need to run an ethernet from the Pfsense to the AP, but then what do I do?

Do you want to have that traffic on a separate network or just part of your LAN? If the latter, and assuming that the Logitech device is already broadcasting your WiFi SSID, disable DHCP on your Logitech router and then plug one of its LAN ports into the switch connected to LAN on your pfSense box.

Can I just plug one of the LAN ports from the Pfsense box into the port labeled "Internet" on the router? The place where the ethernet from the modem connects.

No, use a LAN port on your router.

mntwins7, the short answer is yes, it will work, but then you're just adding unnecessary complexity to your network by double NATing. Plug into a LAN port as charliem noted earlier.
Also, the AP doesn't have to be plugged directly into PFsense, the AP can be plugged into any switch that is connected to your network.

Okay guys, I found out that the router has an option to use as an access point. It disables everything except for wireless. Thanks for the help.
No double NAT or a different subnet
