      I've search the forums and only a found a few posts but nothing on if its possible. Anyways my DNS and DHCP server is a Win2008 machine, which in pfsense I have the IP set to my DNS server. So I think it would work translating names withing BandwidthD and etc.

      Anyways is there a option within pfSense to manually override or specify a new hostname, so its easier to see a name rather than an IP address for easier tracking?
