[SOLVED] Can't install snort after upgrade to 2.1.1

Upgrade to 2.1.1 was successful except that it removed snort. When trying to add the package back in I get the following error:

Looks like the package is missing. Anyone else having this issue?

OK, then I guess I am going to have to wait until new version is approved or go back to version 2.1.

Going back to 2.1 won't help as the update was already approved, but it's missing files.

This is not a matter of approval, it's a matter of the reverse proxy and/or mirrors being broken. It works as long as you have IPv6 connectivity. As already discussed in length on the linked thread.

OK, no problem I can wait until the mirrors are fixed. This is a test firewall so it is not a big deal as my production one is up and running perfectly. At least I now know what the problem is.

Snort is back. I was able to successfully install the package today and it picked up previous settings and is working correctly.
Please mark as Solved. :)
