      Hi,

      we have been using pfsense since a long time now, never had any problems.
      But with the newest update from version 2.1 RELEASE to 2.1.2 RELEASE, after  reboot i got this message - see attachement.
      Happened  on both of our FW's (exactly the same hardware setup running in an HA master + Backup setup.
      Any idea why this happened?  - Machines doesn't react anymore after this, so no  "bt" possible.

      regards

        Is this 2.1.2 RELEASE or 2.2-DEVELOPMENT?

            And this section of the forum is for 2.2 Snapshot Feedback and Problems.
            You will get better help if you post elsewhere, like in Installations and Upgrades.
            Edit: the post got moved to the correct forum.

              I am seeing this on both of the memstick-vga builds that are up on snapshots.pfsense.org for the amd64 platform on 2.2.

              I don't see this when booting into 2.1.2, but 2.1.2 won't recognize my NICs (which is a separate problem).

                ok i think i found the cause of this problem

                i reinstalled 2.1.2 RELEASE and  configured everything as usual
                Then i added the NIC tweak - (https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Tuning_and_Troubleshooting_Network_Cards)

                /boot/loader.conf.local
                kern.ipc.nmbclusters="655356"
                hw.em.num_queues="4"

                as we always did- but after adding this line, and rebooting, ill get the exact same error message.

                any idea why?
