Enable access from WAN to internal IP Cam on port 7777
-
Hi Everybody,
Excuse me,my English isn't so good.
I've been using pfSense now for almost two years and reached some good results with it.
I am very pleased the way it works and how advanced it is.
Unfortunaly,it is sometimes easy to get lost in the WebGUI.
My question is:
I have an IP CAM on my LAN with the following adress:
192.168.2.3 and it's on port 7777 .
What i want to achieve:
My WAN adress is static, it's 84.198.4*.***
I want to be able to access my IP Camera's web interface from anywhere in the world on any device by entering my pfSense box WAN ip followed by the cam's port in say like the adress bar in IE…
I mean by going to this adress: 84.198.4*.***:7777 ,
I should be redirected to my Camera's interface.
Someone does know how do i need to configure my pfSense to allow my plan above to work?
Thank youPS; I didn't know where to post this thread so correct me if i put it in the wrong category.

Already tried port forwarding.. isn't working.
Made a NAT rule and a regular firewall rule but it doesn't seem to work.
I added the port with it to the "redirect port to" field in the NAT rule i added.
Under the advanced tab for the source & destination in the new rule i created,i also entered the port numer..
None of these worked.
I created these rules outbound as well as on the WAN interface rules.
Am i doing something wrong or isn't this the right procedure to follow?
Please let me know. -
