      Hi all,

I have a backup pfsense i386 installation with the latest PfBlocker version installed.  This box is not powered on all the time, it's lile an emergency failback system in case my primary pfsesnse fails. (not gotten round to setting up carp yet).

Anyhow As this box is not powered up for quite a while I would like to manually update the rules PfBlocker downloads instead of waiting for the minimum amount of time of 1 hour in the gui.

      Is this possible at all?

Have tried just to disable and then re-enable via the gui but it doesn't seem to trigger an update.

      Thanks and regards.

        try this on console/ssh

        /usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/local/www/pfblocker.php cron

          Thanks for that marcelloc,

As the backup box has already updated automatically, I ran the command in the console.  No errors but I also did not get any output in the system logs as you normally see when an update is run automatically.

I guess I need to leave the box powered off for a while to let it get out of date and test again.

          Cheers
