Hi, i got a question I've been thinking about a lot lately. Is it possible to bind an application on a computer connected to a lan to a specific wan? If the router had 2 wan ports with different internet connections.

Like if i wanted Skype on my desktop to use wan2 but all other programs to use wan1.

i followed this https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Multi-WAN_2.0 guide to make a failover with wan1 and wan2. Now i want one of the connected computers application to use wan2, possible? the app uses port 550 and 17759.

          hi shms,

          1. create an alias for these ports 550 and 17759, and name it skype as an example
          2. create a lan rule:

protocol: specify what protocol that ports uses
source: single host (just type the ip of that PC - assuming that you add ip_mac binding in DHCP)
destination port: to & from: others  then specify the alias name in the red box
          gateway: wan2

put that rule below "anti-lockout rule"…2nd to all rules
