My hardware is an HP DL360 G4p server (Xeon 64bit)

It seems that no matter how many times I download the ISO, and try a reinstall, I can select the defaults on the first grey menu box, and then the menu goes away, and the installation hangs.

      (see image)

I am running 2.0.3 just fine on the same hardware.

I am installing on a second, identical server and wanted to swap them out.

Any thoughts as to what is happening here?

UPDATE:  the 3sBit install ISO works, but the 64bit hangs at the point above.

        What gives?

          UPDATE 2:

It seems the 2.1.2 AMD64 bit version installs just fine.

There may be a bug in 2.1.3 installer.

Did you check if you could update from 2.1.2 to 2.1.3 without problems later so it is "installer only"?

              That's precisely what I did.

It turns out that something is wrong with the 2.1.3 fresh install

I have tried installing from 5 Flashdrives, and 3 different CD's of 2.1.3. Needless to say I have had the exact same issue. It freezes at Waiting on Backend.
Trying to install 2.1.2 now, and see how we get along.

                1x i3-4150
                1x 4GB Kingston HyperX
                1x SuperMicro MBD-X10SLV-Q-O
                200W power supply.

I will reply with my results.

The installer for 2.1.2 seems to freeze at Looking for Config.xml on da0 (Formatted Flashdrive that will host PFSense after install.
                Retrying reinstall.

It seems that with this hardware I cannot get past the booting stage, or in the 2.1.3 I cannot get past the expected freezing point with the installer.
