      Hi
I'm using nanobsd image. I want to change pfsense name in F1 boot prompt. I can recompile image. Do you know what boot loader files should be changed? Is "pfSense" string hardcoded in boot loader files?

        tunefs -L <label></label>/dev/ad0s_?_

Note: This will break things without fixing /etc/fstab and other tweaks on other places (such as /etc/inc/pfsense-utils.inc)

Pretty sure you can't do that in Nano. Or at least it won't change the bootloader options as required. the fstab is not used in Nano for one thing.
          For reference see: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=69471.0

            doktornotor, tunefs doesn't work.

tunefs :/dev/da0s1: could not read superblock to fill out disk

stephenw, I want to know what files should be patched.

Can't really help you there I'm afraid. It will almost ceratinly require access to the pfSense tools repo though so you might want to sign up for that:

I haven't gotten around to doing that yet.  ::)
