      I'm running the latest snapshot (9-May) but also encountered the same problem with previous snapshots.

      I receive on the WAN interface an IPv6 by DHCP6 and when I connect with ssh to the router I can ping an IPv6 host.
      But whenever I set a static IPv6 on my LAN interface (in order to provide IPv6 connectivity to LAN client) I can no longer ping an IPv6 host (except for the interface IPv6)
      Also I don't know if that's important but the pfSense box get its IPv4 by DHCP from the ISP modem/router and this one has a DMZ that redirect to the IPv4 of the pfSense box.

      This is the output when I've only the WAN IPv6 :

      *** Welcome to pfSense 2.2-ALPHA-nanobsd (i386) on router ***

       WAN (wan)       -> re0        -> v4/DHCP4: 192.168.1.101/24
                                        v6/DHCP6: 2001:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:8aaf/64
       LAN (lan)       -> bridge0    -> v4: 172.16.55.1/24
       LAN1 (opt1)     -> re1        ->
       LAN2 (opt2)     -> re2        ->

      ...

      16 bytes from 2001:200:dff:fff1:216:3eff:feb1:44d7, icmp_seq=89 hlim=49 time=302.782 ms
      16 bytes from 2001:200:dff:fff1:216:3eff:feb1:44d7, icmp_seq=90 hlim=49 time=302.910 ms
      16 bytes from 2001:200:dff:fff1:216:3eff:feb1:44d7, icmp_seq=91 hlim=49 time=303.821 ms
      16 bytes from 2001:200:dff:fff1:216:3eff:feb1:44d7, icmp_seq=92 hlim=49 time=303.947 ms

      After I've set an IPv6 on LAN I get this :

      *** Welcome to pfSense 2.2-ALPHA-nanobsd (i386) on router ***

       WAN (wan)       -> re0        -> v4/DHCP4: 192.168.1.101/24
                                        v6/DHCP6: 2001:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:8aaf/64
       LAN (lan)       -> bridge0    -> v4: 172.16.55.1/24
                                        v6/DHCP6: 2001:aa:bb:cc:dd::1/64
       LAN1 (opt1)     -> re1        ->
       LAN2 (opt2)     -> re2        ->

      ...

      ping6 www.kame.net
      ping6: hostname nor servname provided, or not known

      Also I would like to point out that this version solves, on my WatchGuard Firebox X-Core X500, the problem with Realtek NIC watchdog timeout.
      Thanks.
