      Hi,
It's possible to install pfsense on a usb 3.0 flash drive?
      MB is Gigabyte J1800N-D2P
it must work via XHCI driver if i'm not wrong.

      thx

      pfsense 2.3.4 on Supermicro A1SRi-2758F + 8GB ECC + SSD

      Happy PfSense user :)

Not with pfSense 2.1.x, based on freeBSD 8.3, but it may be possible with the next version of pfSense (though still not necessarily advisable).  pfSense 2.2 is based on freeBSD 10.0 and has xhci enabled, and is currently in alpha testing.

You can install to a USB 3.0 drive. What you cannot do is use a USB 3.0 port.

            I can break anything.
